S. Jackson or R. Moss? WHIR

Postby Stelly » Wed Aug 04, 2010 12:26 pm

I am in a 10 team, non-ppr keeper league. We start 1QB, 2RBs, 3WRs, K, DST. My keepers will be R. Rice in the 5th, G. Jennings in the 7th and F. Jones in the 11th. I have the 6th overall pick.

Looking at who is available, I might have a choice between S. Jackson and R. Moss. I cannot keep a 1st round pick next year, so there is no keeper value in either.

Given that I already have a stud RB in Rice, and a low-end #1 WR in Jennings, who is the pick here? Do I load up at RB with SJax (who has some question marks) and have weaker, but still solid WRs? Or do I go for the stud WR in Moss, and have killer WRs and a weaker RB2?

Thanks, and leave a link!

I have SJax ahead of Moss in all formats. I was going to say it is easier to get WR's late but it is actually getting that way for RB's as well. To me, BPA is SJax.

Yeah, definately SJax. With him Rice and Felix, you have at least two of them to startevery week since they all have different bye weeks.

If it were PPR you might consider a stud WR to fill out your lineup (I typically draft to fill out my starters first) but SJax will be a great starter for your format. If you do go with Moss you will have a question mark at RB2. I agree with everyone else - go with Jackson.

I'd go with Jax as well, he should be back to form this year, and a great back to plug in next to your keepers.

I agree w/ the board, SJAX over Moss, esp since you have a decent wr already. I'd probly target another wr in the 2nd though.
Good luck and please help w/ mine in sig!

I agree with the spelling bee champ, vykeengfan (is that you, Tavaris?) in that I take SJax now and look at WR next round.
