Need help getting keepers down to 4 *WHIR*

Postby MG4hand4 » Thu Aug 05, 2010 11:23 am

Here is who I am down to:

Deangelo Williams
Cedric Benson
Shonn Greene

Larry Fitzgerald
Chad Ochocinco
Wes Welker

Antonio Gates

This list has to be narrowed down to 4. 1/2 point per reception.

I was also offered Tony Romo for Welker and a 3rd round pick. Should I take that and keep him?

Thanks so much!

Think Fitz, Greene, Dwill and Benson are your best bet.

If you do the trade for welker, can u keep the 4 listed above and acquire draft picks for him? if so then do that.

I always try to keep BPA according to my rankings, and that would be DWill, Fitz, Greene, and Ced. I would not consider the trade for Romo.
Good luck and please help w/ mine in sig!

I may be a little crazy, but I would keep D Williams, Greene, Fitz, and Welker. I know that every other poster will call me a douche, but with Welker practicing with full contact yesterday, I would just take the risk that he plays from day 1. With this being a PPR league, he has a lot more value (if it weren't, I think I would keep Benson instead). I like being a little ballsy (unless it is a high dollar league).

Disclaimer: If Welker gets re-injured or doesn't actually start the season on the active roster, I blame the whiskey in the morning ;-)

hanny2042, I don't think anyone would call you a douche for suggesting keeper Welker. If healthy, he is one of best PPR WR's. I just worry about him coming back so soon after a major knee injury. I just think that Benson is the much safer choice. he is one of the few backs that are not involved in a RBBC and will get goal line carries.
