Dynasty League, McCoy for Marshall? ... WHIR

18-team dynasty league

QB: Schaub
WR: Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Marques Colston, Chaz Schilens
RB: Pierre Thomas, LeSean McCoy, Donald Brown
TE: Olsen
Def: Baltimore
K: Hanson

Bench: Leinart, Bernard Scott, Rashad Jennings, Sproles, James Davis

The guy who has Marshall wants McCoy. I like McCoy, but Marshall is a proven fantasy stud. What do you guys think? I realize it would leave me extremely thin at RB, but I wouldnt have to worry about my WR for years... The guy trading also has Finley, who I like... I tried McCoy for Marshall/Finley, but that got shot down. So it comes down to McCoy for Marshall or maybe I should try McCoy/Olsen for Marshall/Finley?

I personally would not take that deal. Marshall is a stud, but McCoy may be as well. While the unknown is what makes it a valid trade, I would take the chance that McCoy becomes a top RB (as Westbrook was). I believe in this even more if it is a PPR league.

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned it isnt a PPR league. Do you feel the same way, even with Finley as part of the package with Marshall?

I agree with you as far as adding Finley into the deal. I would take Marshall and Finley for McCoy...especially since it isn't a PPR league.

Thanks for the advice on mine So far I have taken Felix and I am thinking about the 2nd half of my pick ;-D

NOOOOO! Marshall is going to see a huge stat decrease by being in Miami and you need your RB's. Also, you already have the Johnson's.

You have no need at WR considering you have three of the top 10 WR in fantasy football. You're already pretty weak at RB, and trading away McCoy makes your situation worse. Unless you can start all four WR at the same time I'd keep McCoy. He'll be good even without the PPR.
QB Joe Flacco
RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Matt Forte, Ahmad Bradshaw, Clinton Portis, Michael Bush
WR/TE Calvin Johnson, DeSean Jackson, Mike Wallace, Johnny Knox
DEF Arizona Cardinals (for now)
K Dan Carpenter

it's an 18 team league, but we do start 4 WR... I am currently starting Schilens in the 4th spot. Does tha change anything?

since I am starting olsen and mccoy, the trade would change my starters from mccoy/olsen/schilens to sproles/finley/marshall.
