10 team Re-draft league (non-keeper) QB, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR, K, DEF Mostly standard settings with: 6 pts. per passing TD, 1 point PPR
My current roster:
QB - Tom Brady QB - Eli Manning RB - Jamaal Charles RB - Joseph Addai RB - Matt Forte WR - Andre Johnson WR - Donald Driver WR - Hakeem Nicks
I am on deck in my draft and have the wrap-around picks, so I will be drafting 2. My thoughts are that I should go with at least 1 WR, as after AJ, they aren't great...but I'm not sure. Any advice on what you would do would be greatly appreciated. Below are my options:
RB - Ricky Williams, Felix Jones, CJ Spiller, M Hardesty, Portis, A Foster, M Bush, Tate
WR - Houshmandzadeh, Breaston, Dez Bryant, Meachem, Knox, Aromashodu, Vincent Jackson
TE - Shiancoe, H Miller, Cooley, Z Miller, Keller, Carlson, G Olsen
Another question is whether it is too early to take a chance on VJax? I would do it in a heartbeat if I knew he was only out 3 weeks, but he very well may hold out for 10 or more.
My thought of drafting 2 WRs is hindered by the fact that I am not impressed with many of those guys, but feel like I need depth there in case Driver takes a step back or Hicks ends up sucking. There isn't much of a difference between any of the TEs, so I don't see a reason to draft one now.
All thoughts are appreciated. If you want to give a list, 3 would be great in case one gets taken before it gets to me.

I think you are better at WR than you think. Nicks is a budding star and Driver is a consistent 1,000 yard 6-7 TD guy. I wouldn't be exactly thrilled with your RB situation, there are some question marks there. If I had your pick right now I'd go with F Jones then I would take V Jax, just for the upside. You have to go for the best player out there and I think I just named the two of them.
Of the TE's listed I'd go with either Cooley or Z Miller.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I am undervaluing the WRs, but I feel alright with my RBs right now. I know that they aren't marquee names, but I have had a lot of success with Addai and Forte (even last season when he sucked in regular format) in PPR. I do agree that the best option may be to go with 1 RB and 1 WR right now, though. Thanks again for the advice!
Your running backs are solid, but I agree with the RB/WR mostly because the RB available right now are huge upside guys in a PPR...
I would take Felix Jones, then depending on how much you like to gamble, TJ is way undervalued this year or Dez if you want a chance at upside. Depends on quality of league too... if you feel you can get by (may be possible, your roster is still very solid), then maybe getting VJax for the last couple weeks might be a good risk too.
I would take F. Jones and R. Meachem with your two picks. Jones should be a nice PPR back, especially as an RB4 on your team. Meachem in an emerging WR in a pass happy offense, and I think is a great value here in your draft - in what, the 9th or 10th round? He's the WR I like most of the group you listed.
Thanks, everyone, for all of the advice. With all of the different suggestions on WR, I decided to pull the trigger on Meachem. I had him in my mind and the last post solidified it. I also went with Felix, as everyone seemed to agree that he was the best value on the board and I can play matchups with 4 RBs.

Ya Felix Jones has a lot of athletic ability and could be due for a break out season this year. And as for Bryant, well he's got a great QB in Romo. He will be WR2 on the team, but has 2 compete with Witten and Austin for touches. Also, you might want 2 consider a TE if u don't already have one, but it seems all the top tier ones are gone so u cud probably wait a round or 2 on one.
Spiller and Vincent Jackson for me. I'm big on Spiller this year, he goes quickly if you don't take him. Don't like those WRs much, but at least Vince is the #1... GL man...
