I couldn't make it to the draft, so i had to do an auto draft. I ranked my players and this is what i ended up with. I had the 7th pick. I'm not a big FF guy, I'm playing in a league with guys from my FB league, so I need all the assistance I can get. Where can I improve and who can I just drop. I already know that I have too many TE's and I really don't need 2 K's. I would WHir, but I don't think I would be of much help unless it's baseball related. Thanks in advance.
Available FA's are:
Demaryius Thomas Jerricho Cotchery Devin Thomas Arrelious Benn Donnie Avery Marshawn Lynch Leon Washington Bernard Berrian Tashard Choice Glen Coffee Dexter McCluster Demetrius Williams Damian Williams Josh Johnson Matt Cassel Chris Chambers Sam Hurd Juaquin Iglesias Troy Williamson Brandon LaFell Byron Leftwich Matt Moore Maurice Morris Nate Burleson Jerheme Urban
Drop Tebow and snatch up Cassel. I'm a cutler fan in Chicago but trust me, the bears o-line is complete ass. Cassel IMO is gonna have a much better yr w/ Charley Weiss calling plays in KC and I really think he is gonna be a good surprise this yr. I love Cutler and my bears but I don't trust the Oline and lovie smith having devin hester starting above devin aromashadu. Keep cutler but grab cassel as solid insurance, Cassel could end up having a better yr than cutler. We will see.
Not sure how Gore fell to you at 7--maybe your scoring favors QBs or something. Regardless, be thankful you got him that low.
I'd want to see a better WR1. Rice sounds like his hip is holding him back for the foreseeable future, and when Favre comes back I don't expect him to have the same type of season he had last year. In turn his WRs won't do as well, either. Boldin and Driver are good WR2 and WR3s, but I'd like to land someone more guaranteed than Rice as my WR1. I bet you could package Rice with a RB like Jacobs and get a solid WR1. There will always be free agent RBs you can add for depth (Arian Foster, anyone?). TE is solid, D is top-notch, and you have a high-scoring kicker. I agree that you need QB depth, so pick up Cassel first thing.
Upgrade your WR and your team will be tougher to beat!
Basically your last 4 picks you can afford to drop. Keep Daniels, he's a good TE that will be playing for a contract when he gets healthy.
Lot's of people are high on Cutler as a #1QB, I am not, but I could be wrong. For a back up I'd say either Cassel, Lienart, or Campbell. If things go they way they're supposed to, you'd only sit Cutler if he's on bye or hurt, in that case those 3 I mentioned play very weak teams multiple times and you can hope for a good match up.
Rice will be good if Favre comes back, if not, then yes, I'd try a Rice/Jacobs for Calvin trade.
Others I'd pick up are Choice, Avery and one of the D. Thomas' it really doesn't matter which one.

LaRock's Advice was on the money I was able to package WR Rice and RB Jacobs in a trade for WR Calvin Johnson last week. Today on the radio I heard that Rice underwent Hip Surgery and will be out at least 1/2 the season. So I basically trade Jacobs for C. Johnson. The other team in the trade is fuming, but It was a legit deal, he should of done his homework...lol. Thanks again LaRock.
