My first fantasy team

Postby reallyred » Mon Aug 16, 2010 11:22 am

I'm in a 12 team league (I had 8th pick). It's not a PPR league. This is my first year playing. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and DEF

QB - Kolb, Cambell
RB - Maurice Jones-Drew, Deangelo Williams, Willis McGahee, Beanie Wells
WR - Anquan Boldin, Santana Holmes, Mike Wallace, Chris Chambers, Houshmandzadeh
TE- Winslow, Miller
K- Mason Crosby
Def- Broncos

I feel like my WR are my weakest point so I'll look to pick up a solid WR early in the season. My first game is with one of the weaker teams in the league so I have a bit of time. I'm going to look for teams with weak RB line ups and approach one of these owners for a stronger WR. I'll have to monitor my QB situation, but if Kolb has a good preseason I'll feel more comfortable going into the season. Am I on the right track??

Also any articles someone can point me towards on strategy during the season would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

I think you have a pretty solid team, and I think Boldin is gonna have a really good year

not bad for your first draft...like the rb's and your wr's aren't that bad, but i would look to upgrade if you can..
