+1 I think the main difference you'd see between Gore and Dixon is that Gore is a tremendous 3rd down back himself. So Westy will only get on when they truly want to give Gore a breather. He won't necessarily be the designated 3rd down back like Kevin Faulk. With Dixon, you'd probably see Westy come in on every passing down.

Agreed. I think Dixon still has value as a handcuff. Westy not so much.....

Bandrus1 - no. Gore is a #5 pick in most drafts. Don't shy away --- Westbrookis being brought in to take 3rd down duty, to catch passes, and fill a very different role then Frank Gore. Stick w/ Gore and enjoy the production.
