10 Team QB friendly rules, #8 pick WHIR

I already can hear the criticism.

10 Team league with basic rules with a few exceptions. TD = 6 Int = -2 and also a Q/R/W/T flex, so in effect a 2nd QB spot.

1. (8) Frank Gore
2. (13) Rashard Mendenhall
3. (28) Brandon Marshall
4. (33) Tony Romo
5. (48) Antonio Gates
6. (53) Jeremy Maclin
7. (68) Kevin Kolb
8. (73) Malcom Floyd
9. (88) Derrick Mason
10. (93) C.J. Spiller
11. (108) Kenny Britt
12. (113) Santonio Holmes
13. (128) Donald Brown
14. (133) Laurence Maroney
15. (148) San Francisco
16. (153) Rob Bironas

I know the classic advice in a league like this is that you take elite QBs early and often. I avoided that route and went classic RB/RB for a specific reason. This is a work league and in the weeks leading up to the draft I found out that basically everyone was stuck in the past and thought of taking a QB early as ridiculous, I decided to use that to my advantage, wait until later rounds to get QBs I knew would be there and get better value at my other positions.

I went into the draft planning on taking RB/WR and taking Romo and Schaub in the 3rd and 4th rounds. To my surprise someone popped on Schaub early in the 3rd, so I went with Romo and decided to wait for Kolb. Mendenhall fell to round 2 due to a WR run at the end of the 1st, so I took the RB since the WR quality wasn't what I thought it would be at the beginning of the second.

I could go on and on but this is too long as it is. What do you think? my biggest concerns are RB depth and 3rd WR. Leave a link and I'll tell you what I think of yours. Thanks.

Your QBs are solid.
I like your 1/2 backs a lot, and Spiller is looking decent while Jackson is getting banged up.
Floyd isn't a bad WR3 either. The stars are aligning in San Diego to propel Floyd to fantasy goodness.
It may seem a little skewed because of the fact that there are only 10 teams in the league, but you have enough upside on this team to be competitive.

If you have a chance to look at my team

obviously your RB's are set, especially no no Big Ben the first four weeks at least, Rashard should be good.

I love Marshall, i think Henne is the real deal and you kow what your gonna get with MArshall.

Floyd is a great number 3, MAclin is an alright number 2.

I like CJ spiller, looks like you got great value there.

Possibly try to beef up your WR's, but even if you dont, your team looks solid.
