First of all welcome to the Cafe ;-D I would suggest looking around and reading as many posts as possible. We have a lot of great minds here with a lot of great information. Also, don't be afraid to ask...most are very nice and helpful ;-D

For a first attempt, I think you did real good. My main concern would be your RBs...those are the life-line of fantasy football, for the most part you need good to decent RBs in order to compete, of course there are exceptions. I really like your QB and WRs. What are the requirements for defense? I don't think it will make or break your team.

If there is a team in need of WR, I would at targeting them to get a decent RB in return. Overall you should have a decent season and stay competitive

RB: LaDainian Tomlinson (NYJ)
RB:Darren Sproles (SD)
TE: Jason Witten (DAL)
W/R: Donald Driver (GB) WR

BN: Derrick Mason (Bal) WR

BN: Marrion Barber (DAL) RB
BN: Willis McGahee (BAL) RB
BN: Matt Moore (CAR) QB

QB: 9.5 (cant go wrong with manning, no injury concerns and always consistent. my only issue with manning is that the colts are generally locked for the playoffs and he tends to rest wekk 16-17 which may end up being a championship week, hopefully by then moore is playing decent and clicking with steve smith)
RB: 2 (im sorry but ur RBs are very very weak. you dont have a single starter. i have no more faith LT has anything, sproles is a #3 RB due to matthews, barber is in a 3 man rotation. you really need to improve here. I wouldnt want any of those players as my #2, let alone #1. They are all #3s at best. ur best hope is that LT still got it, felix jones gets hurt, and sproles gets alot of scoring opportunities)
WR: 6 (driver should be solid but i dont trust sanchez enough to make edwards my #2, especially with holmes in the building now. if mason still got it then he could be good if ur in PPR. once again, not very strong but still some potential with edwards and williams to be better)

Overall: 5 (good luck ur first year and dont be discouraged. fantasy football is a lot of fun. even if things dont work out you could still learn alot about scouring the FA pool and waiver wires. For the future, remember that RBs are ur best friend in a fantasy league. if QB TDs are 6pts that can definitely be a boost but ur gona want to watch the FAs and pickup players as they do good during the year)

good luck!

Thanks Guys I think you missed Larry Fitzgerald and Sidney Rice as my Week 1 recievers. Sorry about the mixup. I knew my RB's looked a little waek after the draft, maybe I can initiate a trade for a reciever. Thanks for the opinions!

haha sorry...yea i did...i had quoted u to see ur players and i guess i scrolled down too much and missed it
that makes a big difference...sorry...

reevaluation:
QB: 9.5 (cant go wrong with manning, no injury concerns and always consistent. my only issue with manning is that the colts are generally locked for the playoffs and he tends to rest wekk 16-17 which may end up being a championship week, hopefully by then moore is playing decent and clicking with steve smith)

I wouldnt want any of those players as my #2, let alone #1. They are all #3s at best. ur best hope is that LT still got it, felix jones gets hurt, and sproles gets alot of scoring opportunities)
WR: 8.5 (fitz and rice will be solid starters and driver is very nice #3. you have a lot of starting spots so ur WRs are actually pretty good)

Overall: 7 (ur still hoping that leinart can succeed and favre will return (which he prolly will). i would try to trade for any RB thats a clear starting RB for their team.)

good luck!
haha sorry again for the confusion

ps. any evaluations for me are much appreciated (link below)
