Who would you rather have in a dynasty league?

I've got to chose between Demaryius Thomas or Mike Williams. Who would you rather have? Williams already has the starting spot locked up, but I like Thomas' upside.

I'd go Mike Williams, he has a young quarterback where the both of them can develop together and gain good chemistry. The quarterback situation in Denver is horrible and it will be tough for Thomas to gain chemistry when they'll probably be switching quarterbacks alot.

I'd also go for Williams. He has already become the WR1 for TB and as delfam said, he and Freeman will be together for a while. I've read a lot of negatives about Thomas, specifically that he lacks speed and he has a lot of little things to work on coming from the triple option offense. Williams has already shown that so long as he keeps his off the field behavior in check he stands in line to be a very productive pro.

It's a nice choice to have. Williams is going to help more right away. He should be an ok WR3 this year - maybe 60/800/6 type of season. He's a very natural receiver, on par with Dez as far as being able to come right in and play. I think Thomas' upside (and risk) is higher. Thomas is a lot more raw in his route running, but his size/speed combo is a lot more freakish if he puts it all together. Thomas could be top 8. Williams could be top 15. A lot of rosters I would rather gamble on Thomas. But you have to be committed to a 3 year plan and not cut bait like some Sid Rice owners did.

This part is wrong. He ran a 4.38 40 at his pro day. He is faster than Mike Williams (4.49 at combine).

I guess I misspoke. What I meant is that Thomas doesn't play fast. From what I have read he isn't quick in and out of his breaks. A lot of his routes at GT consisted of back side posts where he would 'sneak' behind the defense on play action plays, more suited for his straight line speed. Thomas has also been timed as high as 4.64 in the 40. If his 4.38 was manually timed it could easy be off a tenth of a second or more. I do agree that he has a ton of potential because he has plenty of room to improve. However I think that Williams has just as high a ceiling but a higher floor to go with it.

Thanks for your help guys. I ended up going with Williams. I like the fact that he can step in right away and was a bit scared off by Thomas' injury.

Well, I think I'd give the edge to Williams. Look at the other WR in TB, nuff said. Besides speed only WR don't necessarily translate well into the pro league, tell that to Oakland...
