Dynasty trade for 1.4 rookie / free agent pick

I'm looking to make a move in my 10 team dynasty league for the 1.4 rookie / free agent draft pick, the owner is looking for a rb right now and I don't have a 1st rd pick ( I traded my 1.7 for Benson when injuries hit me late last year). So I know from talking to the other owners the first three picks will be Matthews, Spiller, Best and that would leave me with a choice of Kolb or Dez, who do I go after and what should I offer? Thanks WHIR

You have some great RB depth and he doesn't. I'd try to trade Ronnie Brown for that pick and then take Kolb since I'm not crazy about your QBs (the rest of your team is sick though). You might then use Kolb in a trade to upgrade to a top 6 QB.

I agree. You should be able to dump Brown for his pick. You are stocked at RB and will be fine without him. And I agree with Kolb as well. regardless if you can parlay him in trade for a top 6 QB, I think he's gonna be good this year

Thanks for the help with mine. I agree with the rest I would try and give him Brown. I think M. Bush will be good this year because McFadden can not stay healthy, and no Fargas to steal carries, so you have plenty of RB depth

If you can get Ronnie Brown for the 1.4 pick, that would be ideal. If I was the other team, I'd think long and hard about that trade.

Regarding who to pick, I'm gonna have to say take Dez Bryant. He's the clear top WR rookie this year. The talent is definitely there, but you might have to wait a year or two to really see it pay off. IMO, Kolb isn't that big of an upgrade from Eli or Matt Ryan, if at all.
