I need help trying to trade for a QB, please help!

Ok, I am in a 14 team 1ppr 4 keeper (1 must be a rookie) league. The QB's in my league were drafted pretty early and I just kept drafting value that was left on the board. I feel I have a pretty deep team, especially for a 14 team league, but am left with Chad Henne as my starting QB and Hasslebeck as my backup. I have tried to work out trades with people, but no luck yet. There are 3 main teams that have 2 solid QB's I will list my roster and the other 3 teams rosters.

Mine
QB- Henne, Hass
RB Stephen Jackson, Beanie Wells, Forsett, Bernard Scott, Jason Snelling
RB/WR J Best
WR-Wayne, Megatron Aromashadu, Jarrett, Edleman
TE-Winslow
Def-Cinci
K-Bryant

Team 1

QB-Brady, Matt Ryan
RB- Chris Johnson, Donald Brown Leon Washington, Julius Jones
RB/WR- Ahmad Bradshaw
WR-Welker, malcom floyd Eddie royal, jacoby jones, Brandon LaFell, Brandon LaFell, vincent jackson (IR)
TE-Finley
Def- DOlphins, Cardinals
K-Carpenter

Seems to be a good option since he has 2 good QB's and some very questionable starters after CJ

Team 2

QB- Tony ROmo, Eli Manning
RB- M. Bush, Thomas Jones, Caddy WIlliams, Mcgahee, Larry Johnson
RB/WR- Fred Jackson
WR- ANdre Johnson, Austin Collie, Avery, Benn, T. WIlliamson
TE-cooley
Def-Giants
K-Rackers

Team 3

QB- Flacco, Mcnabb
RB-Denagalo WIlliams, Brandom Jacobs,Kevin Smith, Steve Slaton
RB/WR- Ronnie Brown
WR-Bowe, H. Nicks, Houshmanzadeh, Golden Tate, Mike Williams(TB), Damyrious THomas
TE- Shiancoe
DEf- Pats
K-Kasay

Bold are starters. Would love any suggestions anybody has! I have gotten some intertesting offers like Mcnabb for Megatron, but I have told people I am willing to stay where I am rather than overpay

Have you tried Beanie Wells for Eli? Seems like a fair trade and provideds a need for both players. Although I like Henne as a sleeper, it is scary with Hass as your back up. Maybe if you had Palmer or someone else I would say sit where you are. But Wells for Eli seems like a legit deal.

I was offered MAtt Ryan for Beanie today, is that somethign I should consider instead? I personally like Matt better than Eli. I just have a sneaking suspicion that if I trade beanie, he is going to explode haha. And there is a pretty sizable difference in rankings between Beanie and Eli/Matt. Beanie is around 35 or so and matt/eli are around 85-95. Was kinda hoping I could involve s jax in a deal while his value is still a fairly top pick hehe....

I would definately not trade Beanie Wells for Matt Ryan or Eli. I think Beanies a top 15 RB and Henne is not bad at all considering it is a keeper league. Henne had a pretty good season last you considering he had No great weapons at all, this year he has Marshall (STUD) and hartlines a good 2 and he has one more year under his belt. The difference between the point totals each week youll get between Ryan and henne would probably be the most around 4-5 points which is not much at all. I would definately stick with Beanie who has the potential to be a Top 10 fantasy RB in my opinion.

Since it is a 14 team league, were all the QBs (starters at least) drafted? Is it a team QB league? Can you keep any # of guys each year or is it limited? Henne is fine in a keeper league and there may be help on the waiver wire for you. As far as those knocking Hasselbeck, I actually think he will do fine this year as they have a pathetically easy schedule. As long as his line holds up he will produce. You are more likely to find trading success after a couple of the teams you have listed have their starter go through his bye week. After that, their back-up becomes far less relevant barring injury and those teams will be hungry for one of your RBs or WRs.

Not every starter was drafted, but the ones that are left are Delhomme, Orton, and then mostly backups. We keep 4 players each year, 1 of them has to be a rookie. That's a very good point about Henne compared to Eli or Ryan. It is not worth losing a possible top 15 back for the difference between those guys and Henne. I was offered cassel for edleman, I will have to look into cassel and see what he looks like this year.
