#3 pick 14 team league: 2nd round target?

Postby ramble2 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 5:42 pm

I'm in a 14 team league and have the #3 pick. I'd love some help as the draft unfolds. I'm looking to get Rice at #3, unless CJ or ADP somehow fall.

Who should I be targeting in the second round? I doubt that Greene will last long enough to fall back to me, though I'd love to get him (he's a top target for me this year).

My overall strategy is:

#1: Rice
#2: best WR/RB available
#3: best QB available (should get me one of the top 7, I should think).
#4: best available

Sound good? Any last minute suggestions for someone who's had little to no time to prepare?

Wow. Not that anyone but me cares, but Aaron Rodgers went #1! So I got Peterson! Woo-hoo!

There's a gift. I can tell you in my 14 man league I drafted 1. I felt lucky to get Megatron in teh 2nd and gambled with Jamaal Charles in the 3rd. Probably should have taken Austin instead, because I am screwed at WR.
