Your scoring format may be relevant as Spiller is more likely to have scores on special teams than Best. Also, your keeper rules are relevant--how many guys can you keep each year? Unlimited or limited?
Best is on a superior team playing in a division with perhaps easier defensive matchups than, e.g., facing the Jets twice each year. On pure talent, Spiller is superior. Furthermore, CAL has a recent history of RB flops, see J.J. Arrington as an example. CAL may produce "system backs" that do well there but not necessarily in the pros. (With that said, who was the last stud RB to come out of Clemson . . . . ?) My guess is Best is superior this year and barring injury should score more points. Over five years, Spiller may be better. Hence your dilemma. If it were me and I could only have one, I probably would roll the dice on Spiller simply because he is so high return that it seems worth taking the chance long term that he is an uber back.
