14th pick in 14 team PPR - went WR-WR and RBs shaky? WHIR!!

So. 14 team redraft PPR, all TDs 6 pts. I drafted in the 14 slot and decided to go WR-WR and by pick 42 all decent RBs were GONE!!! We start Qb, 2 rb, 1 rb/wr flex, 2 wr, te,k,d/st and only have 4 bench spots. Roster is below, any help, advice or encouragement is appreciated. I don't think it's as bad as the other owners seem to but it's not ideal. I'm happy with my WRs and QBs (except I wouldn't mind another WR or to swap Smith for Henne or similar), but my RBs are weak. I did have Portis and Hightower higher on my list than most, and I think LDT will be decent in the Jets offense to the tune of 100-150 carries and 30-50 catches, so decent flex. Top 7 make the playoffs. THX!!! WHIR!!!

Alright I'll try to put your mind at a little ease, Its not all that bad. Lucky for you its a PPR league and that decreases the value of RB's and increases the value of WR's. Romo is good and I wouldn't think is too danger proned so you should be fine there. Your WR's are very good with 2 very good WR's and mason won't hold anything back. I don't think olsen is all too great but right now a good TE is the least of your worries, your biggest worry is obviously RB's. If I were you I would bite the bullet and think about trading a WR for a few good RB's that catch some passes. Michael turner and Shonn Greene would be great if you could get your hands on them.

Thanks for the encouragement! While RBs and WRs have similar value in PPR, in this league I underestimated the worth of RBs as there are 14 teams and we have to start 2-3 RBs, so Green and Turner were BOTH gone when I drafted at #14, and neither catches many passes. Also, trades are few, but do happen. So, I could possibly trade one of White or Wayne for a decent RB2 with upside, maybe a McCoy, Grant etc, but I don't know if I should just ride it out and see if 2 out of the 4 become full time starters (I'll probably drop McGahee for a 4th WR). I think Hightower will put up RB2 numbers as he was top 20ish last year, even if Wells gets more carries, since Hightower's upside is he caught 60ish balls and Wells can't catch a cold! I also think either Portis or LDT will be consistent enough to start or they can alternate.

Anyway, any other thoughts on whether I should let it ride a few weeks or bite the bullet now and try to trade for a legit top 20 RB? WHIR, THANKS!

Yeah, I'm still deciding whether to try and get a trade for a better RB1, but I'm not sure who to target. Any ideas?
