Help with last keeper. WHIR 100%

Postby saemick » Mon Aug 23, 2010 11:53 pm

Get to keep 3 players. Already keeping:

Pick in parentheses:
Chris Joshson (1.4)
DWill (2.9)

So, even though I'm keeping 2 RB's already, should I keep a 3rd RB or go with a WR?

Possible 3rd keeper:

Jamaal Charles (13.4)
Arian Foster (18.9)
LeSean McCoy (8.9)
Johnny Knox (18.9)
Jeremy Maclin (12.9)

Start 2RB's, 2WR's, 1WR/TE

thanks

Trade Charles or Foster or McCOy for a starting WR. You should be able to get a very good keeper in return.

So you lose your 1st and 2nd rd picks in keeping CJ4.24 and DWill? That kind of puts you in a disadvantage at WR. It's hard to say who will be there by the 3rd. I'd think about keeping Knox since he's projected to be a No. 1 WR at Chicago under Martz's helm.

Help with mine?

Agreed that is exactly what I would do. Try and trade for sure. Having 3 makes no sense when you can only start 2.

This isn't a bad idea either. Charles or McCoy should yield a decent WR. Try fishing for interest in a trade involving one of these 2.

My initial plan was to keep Charles, Foster or Mccoy for a good WR, but which of those 3 can net me the best WR?

I can't trade anyone prior to the draft, so I'll have to see who has the most value to trade...

Charles will likely hold the most value but this is the preseason... lots of things change very quickly.

That's kind of a toss up to me. I would say Charles simply because everyone saw what he could do last year. You still have him competing against Thomas Jones now, but he racked up a lot of yards in few carries. I have McCoy on my own team, and I still have doubts about him automatically assuming the Westbrook role this year. Weaver stole goal line carries and Bell is there to vulture him now too. I'd say keep Charles and try to trade him. You might find somebody who drafts a QB or WR first who is hurting for depth for a quality RB after the draft.

I would keep Charles. He will have the most trade value if you decide to make a deal once the season starts
