Exactly. Slaton is returning kicks. Not the sign of a guy that is going to get PT at RB. Foster is the starting RB in a monster offense. Spiller looked good the other day and should have a nice season, but I don't see BUF putting up a lot of TDs, plus he has to deal with a RBBC when Lynch/Jackson get healthy.
Keep Foster.

Even if Spiller will probably be better in the long run, your main concern should still always be to win the year at hand. Foster is clearly the better option for this coming season, and you can't keep Spiller just for the years ahead since so much could happen to deter him.
I would go with Spiller. I love his long term potential and I also like him this year. Spiller showed what he could do the other night, we could be looking at another Chris Johnson. With the injuries to Lynch and Jackson, I expect Spiller to get a ton of work this year. I am not on the foster bandwagon like a lot of people. I just don't trust Kubiak. Foster could go off for 200 yards week 1, fumble week 2 and then be on the bench for 2 weeks. I just feel that Foster is one mistake away from Slaton getting the carries.

Wow. It is one thing to like Spiller better than Foster and another thing to say we could be looking at another Chris Johnson. Even if he were playing in a highpowered offense, that would be an incredible leap of the imagination. Given that he is playing in Buffalo, I'll go on record and say that there is no way in the world that he becomes the number 1 back in fantasy and posts anywhere near 2,000 yards rushing, 500 yards receiving, and 16 total TDs.
Maybe you got a little over-excited from one preseason appearance?

I mean theres nothing to look forward to in San Fran so might as well be over excited about Spiller
But on topic I say since they are both going to potentially be going into RBBCs I say go with the one with the who has much less competition for ball time. Spiller because Foster is going to have to compete for balls with Owen Daniels and Andre, and Houston is mainly been a Passing team, while Spiller wont have much competion other then the two RB's and I would much rather compete with two RB's in a offense thats dedicated to the run, compared to a competing against two stud recievers in a pass dedicated team, when your not the #1 option for team. And I think Spiller has the possibility to be the #1 option to go to in Buff while Foster will always be behind Andre and Owen Daniels in looks.
I also would second what someone else said on here about Foster being one screw up away from being the #2 RB behind Slaton.
