Need Advice of What Defense to Start

I have the Bengals defense as my main starter but for week 1 i picked up the cardinals defense against the rams. Bengals got the Pats in week 1 and i'm assuming the rams are going to be awful, especially in the 1st week potentially starting a rookie QB. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure how good the cardinal's D will be down the year but I would start them over the bengals first game. I don't see the bengals keeping the pats below 20 points, but the cards have a chance with the rams....start the cards.

I've had a lot of success using the best available defense against the worst offense any given week. It's a little bit of a balancing act at times, and doesn't always work, but usually avoids really bad weeks. Sometimes, the best you can get is OAK vs SEA or something, but I still like that better than, say, CIN @ IND, for instance. I try to look a few games in advance and see which free agent defense has the best matchups for a few weeks and land them, sometimes carrying two defenses for a couple of weeks.

With that said, I think that your best choice of these two options is clearly AZ @ STL.

on this topic, i was thinking of starting TB at home against CLE. to me, it seems to be the best available option on the waiver wire.

anyone that can share info/projections on Tampa D? Thanks
