12 team draft, 12th pick. Standard Scoring. QB, 2xRB,2xWR, RB/WR, TE, DEF, K

I figured QBs are pretty deep and a lot of them are ranked well below what they should actually do this year. If I wasn't getting Brees/Rodgers there wasn't any sense in jumping on a QB early and I have faith in Palmer this year. Had I gone after a QB when everyone else did I'd have some average WRs, TE, and DEF. I figured that carried more weight than the difference between someone like Tony Romo and Carson Palmer.

This enabled me to get a positional jump in the mid rounds while everyone else was drafting their QBs. That's how I ended up with Gates/Mason/Driver/Jets DEF

thoughts?

1. Shonn Greene (NYJ - RB)
2. Randy Moss (NE - WR)
3. LeSean McCoy (Phi - RB)
4. Antonio Gates (SD - TE)
5. Donald Driver (GB - WR)
6. Derrick Mason (Bal - WR)
7. New York (NYJ - DEF)
8. Knowshon Moreno (Den - RB)
9. Carson Palmer (Cin - QB)
10. Marion Barber (Dal - RB)
11. Mike Williams (TB - WR)
12. Sidney Rice (Min - WR)
13. Kyle Orton (Den - QB)
14. Robbie Gould (Chi - K)
15. Legedu Naanee (SD - WR)

Also... Dallas Clark was available when I grabbed Gates. Would you have opted for Clark? I figured Gates was a better bet with the questions surrounding Vincent Jackson.

You got several good players but you drafted a lot of people way earlier than I would consider them valuable. Personally, there isn't a TE available that is worth my 4th round pick, maybe 9th or 10th, but not 4th. Was greene really the best pick for the 1st round? I find that very surprising but you were there, I wasn't. RB wise youre alright because you have a few good ones but really no one overwhelming. WR wise you are poor, very poor. After Moss I don't see too much in the way of someone getting you a lot of points, but i've been wrong before. You used a high pick on gates which is questionable but in the end gates is still a points machine as TE's go. I"m not really a palmer fan and I don't think he will have a great year, but he does have a few weapons he might surprise me with; I wouldn't count on orton for anything but palmers bye week. My advice would be get depth, mainly at RB and WR. I guess if I have to choose start with WR.
