Rate/Help 12 team non-ppr WHIR

Hey guys/gals, new to the site. Like the place and the very valuable info provided to me. This is my first year doing FF, but I did my research and am somewhat satisfied with my team.

11th pick. Standard yahoo league w/ 1 QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, K, Def. Only difference is 6 pts for QB TD.

I had my comp crash after the 6th round and I didn't get back up until the 9th. So round 7 & 8 were autopicks...

1. (11) Aaron Rodgers
2. (14) Calvin Johnson
3. (35) Pierre Thomas
4. (38) Jeremy Maclin
5. (59) Jonathan Stewart
6. (62) Michael Crabtree
7. (83) Tony Gonzalez
8. (86) New York
9. (107) Mike Williams(TB)
10. (110) Carnell Williams
11. (131) Nate Burleson
12. (134) Donald Brown
13. (155) Golden Tate
14. (158) Kareem Huggins
15. (179) Jabar Gaffney

QB: Rodgers
WR: Megatron, Maclin,Mike Wiliams(TB), Burleson, Tate, Gaffney
RB: P Thomas, Jonathan Stewart, Cadi Williams, D Brown, Kareem Huggins
TE: Gonzalez
K: Need to pick one up still
DEF: Jets

I obviously need a kicker and will have to drop somebody and I'm really worried most about my RBs. But since we start 3 wr and only 2 rb the wide receivers kind of have a higher premium and I wanted to get set there. Let me know if there are any moves I should make, or at least how you would rate my first ever real draft.

Leave a link and I'll let you know what I think about yours.

Your core of RBs is very weak. You wont get far with that team unfortunately. While you have a decent WR roster, RBs will score you more points. You picked Aaron Rodgers with your 11th pick which was good. I'd only go with a QB my first pick at drafting at 11th if it was Aaron or Peyton. Was Ryan Mathews available when you picked again? Hes going to be of some decent value.

Mathews went 8th overall and by the time pick 3.11 came around the RB selection was pretty slim. I probably could have grabbed a low RB1 at 14, but then I would have a hard time getting a WR1 by the time my next pick came around.

You have a good point though, and I agree that I deffinitely need to improve there. One of the guys in my league was really high on D Brown for some reason, so since I need a roster spot I will try and package him and one of my better RBs to move up a little. Hopefully I can make something happen.

Ya I have to agree and say you could use some work at RB. I would find a player someone likes and exploit....as you were saying. If you don't improve at RB I think you will be disappointed by the outcome of your team...but with with improvement I think the outcome could be very shocking.

Thanks for the comment B3N. No matter what happens I won't be dissapointed. I came into a well established FF group as a new guy and as long as I'm not the worst I will feal accomplished.

I do have a question about the WW, it looks like Naanee went undrafted, should I pick him up? And if so who should I drop?

PT cruiser just wasn't worth the pick unless Bush gets injured. There had to be someone of more value there. Cadillac Williams should have a good season if he stays healthy. Ward has done nothing, but ensure that Williams will get the bulk of the carries and he averaged a very nice YPC last year.

I had PT last year and he could go for 28 one week and screw the whole next week over because of Mike Bell and Bush. No Bell could be a great thing however, its NO and they have a guy named Drew Brees.

There could still be gold in FA. Creep around and ask about players there.
