What To Do With The 10th and 11th pick?

Postby michael67 » Fri Aug 27, 2010 10:13 am

I am in a ten team league...1pt per reception, 4pts per passing td and everything else standard scoring....

I have the 10th and 11th picks....if the owners before me hold true to form, brees, rodgers, andre johnson will be selected in the 1st rd....leaving me the choice of 2 of the top 7 rbs....what strategy should i use? RB/RB....QB/RB....WR/RB......Please help

If you take 2 top RB's you can count yourself in the playoffs....well as long as no one gets hurt. Go heavy on RB and WR early then take a QB in the 5th.....I guarantee there is still a very good QB left by that time. This is a lot like the picks in my draft, a large amount of QB's went early so I took lots of RB's and WR's.....then I got schaub in the 6th because by then no one was worried about their backup yet and they overlooked him. RB's win championships here.

As long as you can start 2 RBs then absolutely take the gift of them leaving you DWill/Turner/Gore but with the PPR in there and the top 7 are gone, WR is the choice.
