The Gridiron Legends League is beginning it's inaugural season with a Labor day draft. All teams in the league are named after a former NFL great (The Walter Paytons, The Lance Alworths, etc), and placed in either the Vince Lombardi, Paul Brown, or Bill Walsh Divisions.

Three keepers will be allowed to carry over into the next season. The salaries of keepers will increase 150% for the next season. ESPN will be hosting the league site and Draft.

$50- 12 team, standard scoring action - start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR, 1 D/ST, 1 PK, 11 bench spots

Also included is a $10 Knockout pool- No points, just pick a winner and no same team twice.

Details:
- Auction Draft: Mon, Sep 6, 2010 10:00 AM ET - $200 in auction cash- $60 (50+10)entry fee + leaguesafe fee ($1.80)
- Leaguesafe, money due by September 4th
- Standard ESPN scoring
- 3 divisions of 4 teams
- Play each team in division twice and 4 teams from other division once
- Top team from each division make playoffs, plus a wild card
- 2 week playoff
- Regular season weeks 1-14, playoffs 15-16
- $10 weekly prize for most points scored
- $120 prize for Knockout pool winner
- $300 for first, $150 for second, $100 for third, and $50 for fourth
