Schaub trade, WHIR

Postby kage812004 » Sat Aug 28, 2010 6:27 pm

My league is 6 points for QB td's and we count return yards, 1 point per 10 yards.

we start 2 QB's, i have Rivers and Flacco as my starters with big Ben on the bench, i was offered...

Schaub and Roy Williams for Brandon Marshall and D.Sproles

I really dont want Williams but would love Schaub to start for me instead of Flacco, QB's score high in this league, Schaub had 355 points last year compared to Marshall who had 175, i hate to lose Marshall and Sproles is pretty valuable in a league like this that counts return yards, he had 279 points last year. I believe Sproles is still doing all the kick and punt returns this year?

I don't know how deep you are at RB/WR so I'm going to go in this blind. I think since leagues that usually start 2 QB's revolve around them this would be a good trade. In any other league I would say no but I have a feeling with 2 very good QB's, you will be hard to beat.

plus most leagues QB's get 4 points a TD, this league is 6, im going to probably drop Williams so if i do it its Marshall and Sproles for Schaub. Him and Rivers would be nice, not sure about Flacco, Baltimore runs a lot and Big Ben is out 6 weeks

I like the deal for you, unless the rest of your line-up is jacked up. If you do this deal, it would be in your best interest to deal one of your 'sub' QBs. No need for 4 of them.

Ya that would be some serious overkill

yeah, i did it, QB's are to valuable in this league not to, i am deep at rb and ok at WR, a good kick returner can be more valuable in this league then a top wr like Brandon Marshall so i will keep my eye out, I already have Cribbs.

Ill try and move Flacco at some point but with Bens suspension i might hold on to him unless i get a good offer

Hmm, what is your situation at WR? I like Schaub a lot but not sure hes a big enough upgrade over Flacco to justify trading Marshall

Would he possibly take Flacco, a lesser WR and Sproles for Schaub?

If not Schaub is a stud, so you can't really go wrong with him.

help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=470433
