Thanks HJ.

Just to make it official...

Michael Bush (thumb) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.

The Raiders left the door open all week for Bush to suit up, but that may have been a case of gamesmanship. The Bennett's fracture that Bush has makes it difficult for him to grip the ball, so his status for Week 2 remains unknown. Darren McFadden gets the nod and is set for a tremendous opportunity to prove his critics wrong. Consider McFadden a risky upside gamble in PPR formats.

Michael Bush (thumb) is inactive for Week 2 against the Rams.
Bush will be joined in street clothes by DT Richard Seymour, LG Robert Gallery, CB Walter McFadden, S Hiram Eugene, LB Travis Goethel, and WR Chaz Schilens. Darren McFadden won't struggle for 18-plus touches against St. Louis.

So How's it looking for Bush in the coming weeks? Is McFadden going to totally marginalize Bush? Will they split even carries or is there hope for Bush to be the primary RB in Oak?

Is Bush worth holding onto?

Bush should play this week (probable), but it appears McFadden keeps the reins.

Rotoworld:
Raiders offensive coordinator Hue Jackson plans to continue to lean heavily on Darren McFadden going forward.
"That's what our (primary) runner has to do," Jackson said. "He has to be able to carry the load. I like to get on a back's back and ride him." Michael Bush is expected to return this week, but he's now a clear backup to McFadden. McFadden is flirting with every-week RB1 status as perhaps the best value in 2010 fantasy drafts. He often lasted to the ninth and tenth rounds.

Bush confirmed as Week 5 starter: With RB Darren McFadden out for Week 5 with a hamstring injury, RB Michael Bush will step up and start against the Chargers on Sunday. The last time Bush played at home against San Diego came last season when he rushed 12 times for 55 yards and a touchdown.

and

Bush missed the first two games this season with a fractured thumb and has since returned for 10 carries and 53 yards with a touchdown. His production has not warranted his Fantasy ownership but he's definitely going to see a big boost in touches in Week 5. The Chargers have held opposing RBs down all season, as no team has rushed for over 100 yards or scored a touchdown against them since Week 1. With this tough matchup, consider Bush a No. 3 Fantasy RB for Week 5.
