I am drafting 3rd. I have heard the news on MJD or no news really. When there is smoke there is fire in most cases. Anyone in the know, know whats going on? He could really be dynamic this year and he will be sitting there staring me in the face in a couple of hours when my draft begins. Advice?

They say he should be ready for week 1. Your choice will be MJD or maybe Brees? Since it's a TD Only league... That's a thought!!

I would take MJD and don't look back. I think the injury is being over-hyped especially in the fantasy world. The last couple of days, people with the third pick have been freaking out... It's a tough spot to be in, but if I had third pick in my league, I would still take him with confidence at this point.

hmmm.. since passing TDs are 3pt then you can't go with QB. If you don't feel good about MJD, how about Michael Turner? The coach is saying that he is looking at 300+ carries this year!

Here is what Rotoworld says:
ESPN's Adam Schefter characterizes Maurice Jones-Drew's knee injury as "soreness," and confirms that he is not coming off surgery.
Schefter also confirms that Jones-Drew will likely be held out of the final two preseason games, likely as a precaution. MJD's injury is a concern, but not enough to move him in our fantasy rankings. He's our No. 3 player.
