I am in a keeper league with a rule that makes the draft slightly different. We can keep 2 players from our previous years roster. The thing is we can only keep any given player for a maximum 3 years then they become a free agent for anyone to draft. One other point of note is any player you keep costs you a draft pick equal to one round higher than they were drafted. Example - you picked player X in round 5 last year, in order to keep him it will cost you your 4th round pick this year. This is a ppr league. Points are awarded for yardage with bonus points at 100, 150 and 200 yards. With that said I am stuck deciding which 2 players out of 3 to keep.
Adrian Peterson - You may say yes a no brainer but this is the last year i can keep him and he is a first round pick for first round value.
DeSean Jackson - Will cost me a 13th round pick this year and this would be the first of the three years i can keep him.(Great Value)
Jamal Charles - Will cost me a 15th round pick this year and this would be the first year of three i can keep him.(Great Value)
Looking at the rosters of the teams ahead of me in the draft there are at least 2 teams who most likely won't keep a first round pick so there is no chance of AP still being around. But it looks like my first round pick would be either Andre Johnson or Larry Fiitzgerald if i dropped AP. Logic is telling me to go with the value picks and grab a tier one receiver but man can i really drop AP?
