In your first league your team looks really solid. the only problem being I think you may have reached on Forsett, While I think he will put up good numbers in the 6th round...i just dont know. As a Bengals fan i love the pick of TO in the last round.
Your Second League is AMAZING. With a PPR Beast like Desean Jackson, and Aaron Rodgers (depending on what pick you had in the 1st.) being a TD machine. Dallas Clark is one of the stud TE's and should be Top 3 TE I think all of your WR have amazing upside in a PPR league.
So your in a 12 team league and you managed to land a Stud QB, a hopefully return to studlyness RB in Deangelo, a Lower end but still Stud WR in desean and an Elite TE in Dallas Clark. and a bunch of players with easily reachable potential. The only thing im not liking is the Fact that you seem to lack a solid #2 RB. Brandon Jacobs and Caddi are more like Flex plays to me. But overall you have a pretty good team for a 12 team league.
oh and thanks for the help on mine.
Fear the mighty SeaBengal, Half Seahawk Half Bengal. 100% Bad A.
I don't really know how to rate your 10 team league so I dont take part in those. As far as your 12 team league goes you have two of the most consistent performers in Rodgers and Clark. That should keep you in it most weeks. I had DeAngelo last year and if he's healthy he's a great pick as well. You should really try and trade for Jonathan Stewart. Having that handcuff took me to two superbowls last year when DeAngelo went down. I think you should've went with more WR depth. You're putting a lot into Kolb getting the ball to Maclin and Jackson. Hicks has great upside but he's got health issues. I think he will ultimately make or break your WRs. Is Edelman available? I also agree with the previous poster that you lack a true #2 rb. Jacobs may get you a consistent 6 points but that's not production you want out of your #2 - not high on Caddy and Taylor is ok in a PPR. Look for Leon Washington or Fred Taylor on waiver wire. You could have something with Donald Brown though. You're an Addai injury away from having a solid #2. I think your team has potential which is great because championships are built through the waiver wire and trades. I'd try to get a #2 RB and a little more depth at WR..
Very nicely done on both leagues.. Only thing I can see is that, as stated before, you may have reached on Forsett, but I think he'll emerge as the starter in SEA and he's the playmaker out of the backfield.
Good job in the first league, though the receivers arent my favorite.
Second league, I think you took alot of upside which is important in deeper leagues. Still, you pretty much forfeited week 8. That strategy might help. Overall, very high risk, high reward.
Aside from your preference of receivers, I agree with your strategy.
Team 1 seems good. Top QB, nice starting RBs and good depth. Awesome TE. Only thing that might be lacking is your WRs but they're not so far off. TO will probably be in your starting lineup most weeks.
Team 2 is pretty good too. Only thing you need to work on is your RBs. Other than Deangelo, your RBs aren't that good. Look for some sleepers on WW.
Thanks for responding to mine. BTW, it is the beauty of auction draft to get two stud RBs, it just costed 65% of my budget. It also helped I got them early since slightly later, the bidding went nuts on 2nd teir RBs where managers paid simlar levels as I did to get the studs.
I think your first team is really solid and should be consistent all year. I think you are slightly week at RB for your 2nd team to be completely in it all year. You will need to work on WW to find some hot steals.
For both teams, I might look for a couple of fliers at either RB and WR where you have sleepers that could help, someone like Floyd of SD or a RB that is just off the starting position.
I think that you've got good depth at RB, though I'm not crazy about Charles (bc of T. Jones) or Forsett (bc of J. Jones and Washington). Then again, they can end up being really good surprises. I've been crazy over Jahvid Best, I think that he could be your #2 back if he plays like has so far. I'm liking Miles Austin and TO at the 16th rd? Since all of your other receivers are #2's on their actual teams, then I think he may end up outperforming Garcon and Maclin, honestly.
Team two:
I'm not as used to drafting in 12 team leagues, but, looking at your RB's you've got a lot of choices after your sure starter every week in DeAngelo. Not sold on Jacobs returning to form (Bradshaw's got tons of talent), Cadillac has to stay healthy, Brown has a 50/50 split at best, and Taylor could take over if Forte has just completely lost it (not likely).
Im not sure about grabbing two WRs from the same team either. Nicks will be nice for the Giants. Britt can be a producer, but I'm betting on next year since there is no other target through the air there. Burleson and Chambers are shots in the dark.
Still, with an elite TE and QB, it will all balance out and I think this team will be competitive. This could all be wrong since I rarely do 12 teamers haha.
