How did I do in my draft?

Postby TheGhost » Mon Aug 30, 2010 11:03 am

I play in a ten team PPR league. 6points for all TD's including passing... here's my squad. Thoughts?

QB: Tony Romo
RB: MJD
RB: Jahvid Best
WR: Miles Austin
WR: DeSean Jackson
TE: Brent Celek
K: Nate Keading
DEF: NY JETS

Bench: Beanie Wells, Malcolm Floyd, Ahmad Bradshaw, Jeremy Macklin, Eagles Def., Rashad Jennings

Really like the backs, but in 10 team PPR, not sure you need to handcuff MJD, or take a 2nd DEF. I'd drop both and try to snag two WR's with upside. With Dallas having more targets and preseason woes, I'm not sure Austin can repeat his numbers and if Kolb struggles, your WR core is depleted then.

Wow, A+ draft, was everyone else asleep? I love the fact that you spent the late round pick on Jennings buying insurance for a top 3 back is paramount. Even without MJD though your Backs are solid you could be successful with just Best and Bradshaw this season. I really think the Detroit Lions take a huge step forward this year, you gotta love the NFL for giving the best to the worst parity in its finest. I can’t see much room for improvement here, you’ll need to score a TE off waivers in week my suggestion is to look toward Gresham form Cincy. Other than that this team looks like a championship contender.
