How did I do...?

Postby MissT » Mon Aug 30, 2010 12:24 pm

8th pick in a 12 team league, not PPR (not sure what else you would need to know)

QB Joe Flacco
RB DeAngelo Williams
RB LeSean Mccoy
RB/WR Felix Jones
WR Reggie Wayne
WR TJ Houshmandzadeh
TE Vernon Davis
D/ST New England
K Lawrence Tynes

Bench: Arian Foster, Devin Aromashodu, Ahmad Bradshaw, Tim Hightower, Austin Collie, Alex Smith (SF), Michael Bush

I am currently on the waiver wire to drop Michael Bush (Thumb surgery) and pick up Julius Jones.

Did I have an okay draft in the eigth spot, by your opinions?

Your team is pretty weak but you have potential. I like Flacco this year and he should do well for you. D-willy is a good pick and so is wayne but I think after those two you are weak at both WR and RB. You should definitely trade a few people for a RB2 and then for a WR2. As of right now I would start williams, Foster, and mccoy or bradshaw.

I would say your weakest spot is your WR2. I really don't have much faith in Housh. Otherwise not too bad.

This is only my second year and I am still learning the art of the trade. Could you give me an opinion of who would be good to throw out as bait and what kind of a player I could expect in return? Esp in the WR range. I mean I know the basics and there is no way I would ever get an elite WR for what I am sitting on. At least not with some of the peeps in my league.

(Sorry if this seems like a question out of remedial FF)

You could trade prolly 3 of your iffy bench WR's for a pretty good one....such as jennings. I think you could trade Housh/Hightower/and someone you don't mind losing to get him. 3 players is a lot to trade but I don't have much faith in most of your bench.

I love your team. Don't pick up jones. Look up mike Williams (tb). He might be in FA. If he is snatch him fast!!!

Use Felix as trade bait for a good wr2. He's injury prone and this isn't ppr. Foster is being projected a top 10 rb now, so either way he should be starting over jones.

Package something like jones and wr and you might get a wr1 :).
