Can the Vikes beat detroit?

Turned down two free 50 yd. tickets for this game from my company owner. Said "give 'em to a fan, 'cause I don't want to see it."
Yes, I'm a Packer fan, however, I don't hate the Vikes. It's more a feeling of pity. Vikings always seem to find a way to lose the big one (notice all their Super Bowl trophies). I find it amusing how Vikes fans seem to totally despise the Packers. I usually just quietly smile and show the picture of me grinning in front of the three Super Bowl trophies in the Packer Hall of Fame.It's just human nature for people to envy and demonize that which they cannot achieve themselves. Rip on the Pack all you want, I've lived through three championships, and every win is just gravy now.

A couple weeks ago I would have said that the Lions do not stand a chance. I still would not bet on Detroit winning....but....I would not be a bit suprised. I can see the Vikes being a little overconfident (believe it or not) about their chances of getting back on track on Sunday. Considering this is a Division rival...anything is possible. And afterall...the Lions are OVERDUE for a road win.

S.D. has LT and he had a MONSTER of a game against them. Oakland has some weapons too and a nice RB. Who do the Lions have? I think that they Vikes will be pissed coming into this game and unleash on the Lions.

The key too this game will be who scores first. If the Lions can jump out to an early lead.....the Vikes and the fans in the Dome may get that "Here we go again" feeling and the Lions will then have the Vikes right where they want them.

I don't think we should have a problem but I say SHOULD. I didn't say Idon't think we WILL have a problem with them. The way I see it this is almost a "must win game" for the Vikes. I agree with 4pack, I wouldn't bet on the Lions, but I wouldn't be real surprised if they would beat us.

As to us hating the Pack, I have never met a real, die hard Packer fan who does not hate the Vikes. I am not saying you aren't a die-hard, I am saying that we are not the only ones who dislike the other team...ok, hate...
