Concerns: Receiver depth, running back strength of schedule
Though it lacks a little depth I like your RB situation. Not a real fan of Best but I like the way Spiller looks right now..... Also kuddos for snagging A. Foster. I think he will pay off big this year. In a ppr I guess Megatron is okay.... I'm just not hoping on the bandwagon for the revitalized DET offense.
16 Team w/ Flex, Non-ppr, All TDs 6
QB - Stafford, Cutler RB - MJD, Best, Lynch, D. Carter WR - Nicks, Britt, Benn, D. Moore TE - Graham K - Henery D - Jets
Nice team. I'd say Best is your 2 and Foster or Spiller is your flex depending on how they play (Foster to start the year). I like Roeth as a backup if Shaub goes down which is possible.
Thanks for your review and you should have made your post before u reviewed mine, I was looking for ur roster lol

Roster: QB: Matt Schaub - injury prone but still a monster QB WR: Calvin Johnson - not much u have to say about ur three receivers besides excellent drafting WR: Greg Jennings WR: Dwayne Bowe RB: Adrian Peterson -u have no solid #2 rb but arian foster and spiller has huge potential and if one of them succeeds you got a shot at the championships RB: Arian Foster TE: Vernon Davis - he will do the same or better W/R: Jahvid Best K: Robbie Gould DEF: Chicago Bears
-Bench-
QB: Carson Palmer, Ben Roethlisberger - i would get rid of one and try to pick up another sleeper if u see any potential WR: Dez Bryant, Legedu Naanee RB: CJ Spiller, Steve Slaton, Toby Gerhart DEF: Arizona Cardinals (will stream, has StL week 1)

Talent wise, I definitely think Best and Spiller are better than Foster. But Best and Spiller have the two toughest schedules in the league on teams with suspect olines and offenses (and defenses for that matter). So i choose to play the better matchup in flex and keep Foster as my every week RB2.
I didnt like the late round gambles so I chose to cuff AP (Gerhart) and Foster (Slaton) instead. This guarantees me a solid RB on a solid team no matter what. Carson Palmer is my backup to Schaub since Palmer has a bunch of weapons (Ocho, TO, Shipley, Greshaim), and their schedules matchup very nicely. Roethlisberger is my trading chip for later in the season, I figured I would rather take a QB who I KNOW will produce something rather than gamble late. Let the others do the gambling and when they need the QB, Im there to swing a trade.
really solid team. i think vernon dips a little this year as crabtree comes on, he's towards the bottom of the top 10 TEs for me actually.
other than that, you have to imagine that foster/best/spiller will break out, and when one of them does you'll have a rock solid tandem with AP. everything else looks great.
would consider flipping big ben for a little WR depth if you can. your bench there is a bit of a crapshoot.

Good luck, Great, great drafting.
Thanks for the compliments. So I get that Vernon Davis' production could possibly dip this year because of Tree stealing looks, but I dont get why people are so ready to take JerMichael over him. Both are comparable athletically but Vernon has the edge in experience. JerMichael clearly has a better QB throwing to him but Rogers also spreads it around alot more to his other weapons (in part because Rogers can and Smith prefers his security blanket). I also expect the 9ers to see the goalline more this year and would imagine VD is still the top passing option when they get there. I envision a 70/750/10 season out of Vernon Davis, which makes him a solid TE in round 6 - I also got him after Gates, Clark, JerMichael and Witten, which makes the grab even more sweet. With the exception of maybe Celek, I dont expect any other TE to approach that stat line and Davis is clearly better, at least athletically, than Celek.
I do agree that my WR depth is shaky but I think that Dez and/or Legedu should be nice as bye week fill ins (I would have preferred Mike Williams to Legedu but he is bye week 4 along with Bowe and Dez).
thanks for commenting on my post. I actually enjoyed reading your comments and agree with your thought on Marshall to a certain extent. No one would sign a WR to that kind of a contract if they weren't ready to throw to him. I agree Henne isn't the best QB out there YET but he's growing and the Fins think he's ready for a big time WR. I say they will have several packaged plays for Marshall this season and we will see a slightly different Dolphins team.
Driver has definitely peaked but is consistent and given my QB and RB prowess, I was ok with a par/subpar WR2.
As far as your team, I love Schaub, love Johnson and Jennings, Love the value of your RB picks but not where they sit on your roster. Although I think one of them WILL develop to an excellent RB2 this season so you should be fine.
Our teams are very similar, I am a bit stronger on RB and you're a bit stronger on WR as we should be with our roster spot differences - you have 3 WR spots and I have 2.
