Would love some feedback on my team.....

Postby joeyjoeyb » Mon Aug 30, 2010 8:58 pm

In a 14 team league. We do the draft that the order is random every odd round...I had the 10th pick in the first round.

Round 1 - Ryan Mathews
Round 2 - Romo
Round 3 - Cadalliac
Round 4 - Boldin
Round 5 - Crabtree
Round 6 - Heath Miller
Round 7 - Malcom Floyd
Round 8 - Leon Washington
Round 9 - Saints
Round 10 - Darren Sproles
Round 11 - Jason Campbell
Round 12 - Eddie Royal
Round 13 - Matt Bryant
Round 14 - Jermaine Gresham

I am the Commish in my league and I always like to grade the teams that are drafted after we are done. The had the Vice Commish grade my team and he gave me a C minus. Let me know!!

Your RB's need help, Rookie @ #1, Cadalliac as your #2 is really weak, then Leon and Sproles are weak Backups. Although I understand the handcuff to the rookie with Sproles. Still need another starting RB.

Boldin isn't a #1 WR this year, Mason will outperform him on the team. Crabtree and Floyd should be decent #2/#3wr.
Gaffney will outperform Royal on their team.

I like TE Gresham as a sleeper.

I'd try to trade Boldin and Matthews for a more proven RB and a WR with higher upside.

Ya your RB's are trash....Cadillac is a very high pick for me, nowhere near the 3rd round. I would try to upgrade....RB1 kind of upgrade....you could really use it.

Agree with the C- rating. That team will finish middle of the road.

Have to agree that the Caddy pick in the 3rd round killed your shot. He does have a reasonably easy schedule and he seems to have a pep in his step but you could have easily gotten him 3-4 rounds later. I would have instead opted for someone like LeSean McCoy, Jahvid Best, Arian Foster in that range. You seemed to have gotten good value on your receivers tho so Im curious to see how your draft played out, did the others team go RB heavy in the first two rounds?

I don't see this team making a playoff spot. Your RB situation is in really rough shape. Mathews is realistically your only bright spot in that department.

Thanks for the feedback guys, but I think I will have to disagree.

Everything I am reading is that Leon Washington is #1 in Seattle. Boldin is a #1 receiver, plus a guy in my division (who I have to play twice) has Flaco, so that was a no brainer. I guess we will just have to wait and see. We all know that this is mostly luck anyway.....

I agree with you about Washington but I do think that your RB's need some help. Check the WW. Probably not much there as there are 14 teams. That is a challenge. I have done 12 teamers before but never one bigger.

Good luck.
