I think I did very well overall, except for my QB situation. I'm gonna need Jay Cutler to not suck! I'm trying to trade away a WR for Stafford/Palmer/Kolb. I kind of regret not taking Stewart instead of Best since I own DWill.
Let me know your thoughts. WHIR!!! Thanks

I think that you're dead on with the Jay Cutler pick. I'm not a fan at all. I would maybe try to pair him with one of your WR and go after someone like Flacco or Palmer. I'm just afraid that Cutler will sink your ship.
As far as not taking Stewart...I wouldn't worry. I always hate having two RB's from the same team because then I always have to make the decision on WTS when it's a RBBC type situation!
I like the Finley pick...he's a beast! Also, Best is a great value pick because he has a lot of upside to him!
Real solid. I'm not as high on Cutler as a lot of people but he does still have some upside. Might need an upgrade for Maclin at somepoint, but again he has huge upside. Might be able to trade on of your rb's for a possession receiver instead of a speed guy for a ppr league. Definitely a playoff team though.
I don't think you should be worried about picking Best over J-Stew, in a PPR league, Best will definitely blow up if he can stay healthy. I've been targeting him in every draft I've been in. Detroit ALWAYS throws to the RB, this may cause you to think hard about who you'll start each week depending on mathcups at the RB position. Too bad there's no FLEX or you'd be set. Your WRs are solid and fairly deep. Wayne's probably gonna get another 100 receptions this year so for PPR he's a stud. Jennings will rebound, I think. The GB passing game is too amazing for him not to.
Yeah, betting on Cutler is iffy. Yeah Martz is there now, but if he doesn't improve his decision making, its not going to matter. Hopefuly INT's are only -1 pts in your league. But yeah, try and bait T.O. and another bench player to draw a decent QB backup for Cutler. Aim at teams weak at WR obviously (being a PPR league, your depth at WR will prove to be really useful). You might even get a higher level QB if you don't want to deal with a weekly decision to make at RB and give up Best. Guarantee someone in your league will want him. Anyways, all of tha is perspective. Thanks for the rating of my team by the way.

1. (7) Frank Gore - ppr 2. (14) Reggie Wayne - a stud but peyton likes to share 3. (27) DeAngelo Williams - Amazing he dropped so low imo 4. (34) Greg Jennings - another steal late in the rounds 5. (47) Jermichael Finley - stud 6. (54) Jahvid Best - k smith injuries give this a time to prove himself 7. (67) Jeremy Maclin - an explosive receiever who might be a solid #2 8. (74) Terrell Owens - a steal this low a solid flex if u have 9. (87) Jay Cutler - ppl say he will do good this year, meh idk 10. (94) Carnell Williams - nice pick this late in the rounds another potential #2 11. (107) Devin Aromashodu - someone has to do good on this team right? 12. (114) Jabar Gaffney 13. (127) Alex Smith 14. (134) Mason Crosby 15. (147) San Diego
Your running backs are either ridiculously talented or enjoy a ridiculously easy schedule... or both. Good job there.
Your receivers are equally impressive, but as you said, your QB seems to be the weak link. Depending on how your league scores QBs, I would look into a trade. I think JerMichael is a bit overvalued at this point (I would have gladly waited til the 10th round or later for Chris Cooley who is always flirting with top 5 status even BEFORE DMac or the Shanhans got to the Skins). My suggestion is to package Cutler, Maclin and JerMichael for an elite QB like Tom Brady or Matt Schaub and get back a lower tier TE like Cooley, Schiancoe or Owen Daniels. You wont miss Maclin, TO/Devin A/Gaffney will do just as well for you or better, especially in PPR.
