How is my Roster?

Postby Bossman325 » Tue Aug 31, 2010 2:28 pm

This is only my second year to do fantasy. How did I do?

QB - Tony Romo
RB - Adrian Peterson
RB - CJ Spiller
WR - Miles Austin
WR - Jeremy Maclin
WR - Steve Smith (NYG)
TE - Visanthe Shiancoe
K - Nate Kaeding
DEF - Dallas Cowboys

QB - Kevin Kolb
RB - Darren Sproles
RB - Donald Brown
WR - Golden Tate
WR - Mike Wallace
QB - Tim Tebow - Don't laugh or make suggestions about this one. This is for personal reasons and besides, if Orton tries to make another "neck tackle" again, he will be in.

You need RB depth. AP is obviously money but I think you need a stronger #2 guy. Spiller is good, don't get me wrong...but I see too much of a time-share there.

im hoping this is a 14-16 team league because there very little depth on your roster and I see some major reaches if it were 10-12

I think you could trade for Greene with the RB's that you have. You really need a better RB2 and Greene would be that for you. I'm not saying you have to go after Greene...he just came off the top of my head.

Thanks for the advice. We are in a 14 team league. Any more advice, there are not too many good running backs left.

I think it looks pretty good. I mean yeah besides the obvious RB2 thing. On the other hand who knows Spiller could light it up and you have yourself a great RB2. That will all work itself out in time. Did you go Peterson then Spiller next? Or did you go Peterson then Romo or Austin? Just wondering. Keep your eyes open though cause at the start of the year people ALWAYS blow up that we have heard little about. Land the next Miles Austin and you will be money. I know easier said than done. Your team will be very good if these things happen-- Spiller plays like a RB1, Maclin steps up a little, and Favre stays healthy. Have a good one!!

Lat makes a very good point. Spiller could have a very good year. I would expect good numbers from him but asking for RB2 numbers is a little much...who knows.
