Just drafted - Rate my team - 12th pick - WHIR 100%

Just finished drafting in a 12 team PPR league - standard scoring (except 6 for PA TD).

Q - Cutler (7th)
R - S. Jackson (1.12), Charles (3rd)
W - R. Moss (2.13), Jennings (4th), Crabtree (5th)
T - Cooley (6th)
K - Kaeding
D - Bears

Bench -
RB - T. Jones (9th), Forsett (8th)
WR - Meachem (10th), B. Edwards (12th)
TE - Z. Miller (11th)

First off, I know I'm lacking a backup QB - and I'm not thrilled about Cutler as my starter - but six QBs (Rodgers, Brees, Manning, Romo, Schaub, and Rivers) went in the first two rounds - so I was went for value picks. I was planning on going WR/WR with my 12/13 picks, but Jackson slipped to 12, and Moss to 13. I was shocked I got Jennings and Charles in the 3rd/4th rounds. I don't like carrying two TEs, but I think Miller could be in for a good year, and I was surprised he dropped to the 11th.

Edit: the only FA QBs available worth mentioning are Sanchez, Henne, Delhomme, and Campbell - so there's not a lot out there.

Anyhow, how would you rate this team?

Leave a link, and I'll help in return.

I like your starters epecially RB and WR but I do agree with you about Cutler. I am not a fan. At least he will play vs the Lions secondary 2X :~(

Taking Cutler is a big gamble. I would pick up another on waivers... apparently a lot of people are high on Cassel.

that is a really good squad i was in a simialr spot when 7 qbs wwent in the first 3 rounds and i keot grabbing top wr and rb. Cutler can be servicable, i would see if you can grab roethlisberger a top 10 qb when he returns. overall very good squad.

I agree with your assessment on QB I would try to look to pick someone up off of the waiver wire. You have a strong WR and RB Corps. Overall solid team. Please rate my team: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=470737

You pretty much nailed it. I'm not real high on Cutler but your the rest of your team looks good. I might would have passed on Cooley in the 6th for more depth at either rb or wr. I usually have the strategy that as long as 2 of the top 10 or so te's are still there Im not taking one. Especially if most everyone else has one. Maybe you can deal Cooley at some point for some depth. Your starters seem fine.

the only FA QBs available worth mentioning are Sanchez, Henne, Delhomme, and Campbell - so there's not a lot out there unless I try and work a trade.

You may want to grab Henne. I think he might be solid this year. Maybe drop Braylon or Meacham. Starting WR is definitely your strength.

Agreed on previous points. Your team is extremely solid and will be competitive. The key is Cutler. I'm not sold on him this year because Mike Martz can't help his decision making. However, he will have a gaudy yardage and TD count. Let's just hope that your league is not too hard on INT's. As for backups, I suggest Vince Young, Alex Smith, Chad Henne, or Cassell. Stafford would be optimal, but I doubt he's available.

I think you were in a very tough spot at 12. Moss and Jax are guys you are hoping have another solid year left in the tank. Without top five rb production from jax and top 3 from Moss, you dont stand a chance. I do like you wideouts top to bottom. Cutler is tough to figure out. At this point you have to debate if you would rather have moss or a top qb in the second. That is all I question.

Decent team. Not outstanding though. but for a 12 team league, you may have an outside shot. good luck.
