If you did that, who would be your #1 WR? Bad trade in my opinion. If you wanted to move up again, who else would you give up to get Brees? If you need Roddy White to take you from Flacco to Romo, you'd need an even better player to get you from Romo to Brees...

I feel Flacco and Ryan will more than servicable for you over the year, no need to deal for anyone better.
