Pit Def worth my #1 waiver spot?

Postby TRSmithV » Wed Sep 01, 2010 8:57 am

I have a feeling I should keep my waiver spot and wait for that stud to get hurt so I can grab his back up. My current defense is the Broncos, and I like their corners, of course, but they lost Dumervil for a while and I knwo they give up alot of points. Is Pit worth grabbing or should I keep my waiver spot?

thanks for the advice

Your feeling is right. I wouldn't give up that spot for ANY defense. Every week there's a defense on waivers that has a good matchup and pittsburgh has a really tough stretch in the middle of the season. They also have a bye week somewhat early and you'd have to pick up a different defense anyway. Wait for the stud to go down.

my only issue is that im in a 14 team league with 3 wrs 2 rbs and a flex so i feel like alot of the backups are already taken, but youre right id rather wait it out just incase

I think their offense is too risky right now which would put the defense on the field 70% of the game.... tough choice and I have to make a decision by tonight...DAMN
