Here's something I found from another football board...
"East Rutherford, NJ -- New York Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey could return to the lineup for Monday night's game against Tampa Bay after missing just one contest because of a partially torn ligament in his left knee.
Shockey was hurt in a November 9 game against Atlanta and was expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks, but after sitting out last Sunday's loss to Philadelphia he practiced in a limited role on Friday.
The Giants have upgraded him from doubtful to questionable for Monday's game.
"He moved around and did pretty well," said Giants head coach Jim Fassel. "He's not 100 percent. He was pushing to get out here, so we let him do some things in a controlled environment."
Shockey participated in some drills and worked in a few snaps during practice, but Fassel said a lot will depend on how Shockey feels on Saturday.
"Sometimes after the first day out they're a little more sore in the morning than they think," Fassel added.
Shockey was hurt when he stepped on a defender's foot while running a pass pattern in the fourth quarter of the 27-7 loss to the Falcons. An MRI exam showed a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament.
The former Miami-Florida star has 535 yards and two touchdowns on 48 receptions this season."
