Josh Morgan or Julian Edelman

I'm in a 16 team league where if you lose one major player you have little chance of picking up a replacement so I'm trying to get my bench as stacked as you can in a deep league.

Which would you rather have on your bench and why.

I've stashed Edelman. When I drafted him a couple of weeks ago it looked like Welker might not be able to start right away, however, it now looks like Welker will be playing all of this season. But just in case... Welker is coming off a major knee surgery and when healthy his style of play makes him a top 5 WR in my scoring format. If Edelman replaces Welker his similar style of play could make him a top 10 WR.

Josh Morgan is a nice talent but will be at best the 3rd passing option on a so-so team. His ceiling is no where near Edelman. But if Edelman never plays than Morgan could at least get you some points each week.

I always go with the gimme. Morgan WILL play and will produce. Using a pick to use a player who 'might play' based on anothers injury is never a good idea.

Take Morgan
