Jermichael Finley

So Finley is one player that I really had my sights on in this years draft but as you can imagine he was snapped up two picks before my pick in the 6th rnd.

I then promptly selected B. Celek. Who I like this year but not nearly as much as Finley.

I would really like to trade for Finley but I'm not sure who I should offer along with Celek.

Some of the trade offers I have thought of were:

my B. Marshall, Celek for his R. White, Finley

my Celek, J. Gaffney, B. Scott for his Finley (He's a C. Benson owner)

Would love to hear your thoughts on the above trades and any that you would suggest. Or if you think that I should just stand pat and my team is just fine the way it is.

This is a 10 team league and we start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3FLEX (Thats right 3 FLEX!)

Here is his current starting lineup:
QB Jay Cutler
WR Roddy White
WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh
RB Maurice Jones-Drew
RB Cedric Benson
TE Jermichael Finley
W/R Arian Foster
W/R Brandon Jacobs
W/R Devin Aromashodu
K Matt Prater
D Demorrio Williams
D Brian Urlacher
D LaMarr Woodley

My squad is below:

QB- J. Flacco, B. Roethlisberger
RB- A. Peterson, P. Thomas, J. Best, M. Bush, K. Huggins, B. Scott
WR- Ca. Johnson, B. Marshall, D. Bowe, J. Knox, J. Gaffney
TE- B. Celek, Za. Miller
K- D. Akers
IDP- K. Morrison, EJ. Henderson, R. McClain

Thanks again and will help with yours!

Possibly.

I'm more concerned that he doesn't want to trade him period. But I at least want to make him an offer he has to consider.

Well if he knows you better get ready to trade a whole lot for him. I guarantee if you give up enough he will trade you for him. Post his roster for us to see what he needs.

I personally don't think that he would take either offer for Finley. I think Celek is a good TE, I wouldn't go nuts and give up a ton for Finley.

i would try either offer, but I agree it probably won't work. Celek had good numbers with Kolb at the helm last year, so i wouldn't go overboard to get Finley. Make those two offers and see what he says.

but i agree on Celek..more than enough production at the TE spot esp. with Kolb to give you success

I like both of the deals you posted but wouldn't take them if I was him.

The last thing I'd try is Calvin Johnson & Celek for Roddy White & Finley. I actually prefer White but a lot of people would rather have Johnson so he may take it and Johnson/Celek is a little better offer than Marshall/Celek. Maybe throw is Scott if he wants the handcuff.

Otherwise, don't overpay for Finley. Celek is still a good TE and you don't want to downgrade too much at other positions when you're starting 3 flex.
