Charles or Forte?

First time fantasy player - long time NFL fan. I'm in a 7-team ESPN H2H league and here's how I drafted:

QB: Rivers
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew
RB: DeAngelo Williams
RB/WR: Jamaal Charles
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Greg Jennings
TE: Dallas Clark
DP: David Harris
DEF: Jets
K: Longwell

BN: Dwayne Bowe
BN: Brett Favre
BN: Matt Forte
BN: Brent Celek
BN: Santana Moss
BN: Devery Henderson
BN: DJ Williams

Charles is up against SD first week. Forte plays against Det. Forte had a big game against Detroit last year in Week 4. Is it safe to presume that the benefit of Forte against the Detroit defense outweighs Charles vs. SD? Thanks in advance for your help.

i like both players, but i'd give the nod to Charles, who is just explosive!

I've got both Charles and Forte as bench RB's. I'm hearing a lot more buzz about Charles. He can really end up being a game-breaker. We shall see. I would go with Charles.
