I havent had a chance to read up on the depth of positions this year. I am in a 12-team non-ppr league.
We keep 3 players every year. My choices are:
Shonne Greene
Randy Moss
Antonio Gates
Philip Rivers
I am leaning towards keeping the top 3 and selecting a qb with my 1st pick. What do you guys think? Also hard for me to go this way being that Greene is slated to get a ton of carries but risks being way overvalued and Rivers has thrown 2nd most combined TDs last 2 seasons.

I think you keep Moss and Gates without question. For the other two, it depends what you can get with your first pick. If you can upgrade at RB with the first pick keep Rivers, and vice versa. You're not really going to be able to upgrade from Moss and Gates.

I have the 3rd overall pick of 12 teams. 36 players will have been held already. Not sure what upgrades will be available over shonne greene.

Take Shonn Greene over Rivers. I don't think Rivers will be that good this year and you will be able to find similar talent in the draft.

Personally I think the RB depth this year is very questionable. If a lot of the teams in your league keep 2 RBs; you are in a world of hurt. I have done extremely well over the years with "average" QBs and maintaining a focus on RB and WR depth. I am not a huge Greene fan; but I think the fear of ~20 RBs being kept should force your hand.
