Derrick Ward signs with Houston. Foster owners be worried?

Not at all in my opinion. Foster has it locked down barring injury. Slaton will be #2. This is just insurance for Tate

Agreed that theres nothing to worry about. Per Rotoworld this move is strictly for depth considering both Slaton and Johson have toe injuries.

No, but it goes to show you what Foster will do this year. He is not a 20+ carry guy. I mean the HOU options are going to allow them to do all sorts of things, but Giving AF the rock all day is not one of them.

The Ward signing does not hurt his value, but it makes you think of what Houston wants to do this year........RBBC at its finest.

Ward just got released in Tampa with an injury prone starter and a rookie waiting in the wings. I think it should tell you a lot about where Ward is right now. He is insurance for the team and will be used to spell their starting RB; no different than any other team in the league.
