On a Percent chance basis...what will that be for him being a top 10 back if Williams gets hurt by week 6...i mean..the bucs already have williams/huggins as 70/30 to 60/40

Yea...much too high...gotta factor in just how bad Tampa is going to be offensively as a whole this year. I just don't see him putting up those kinds of numbers even if he ends up getting the starting gig.

Tampa's offense will be improved this year as they now have a deep threat Mike Williams with kellen winslow underneath as their main possesion reciever, and their upgrades on Defense make them better as well. They are good enough to get 7 wins this season. More realistic they end up with just 6. I say this because Tampa Bay, regardless of how good their team is...their defense always tends to give their divisional teams problems, thats why i wasnt surprised they beat the saints last year.

Ill also add that poor offenses can still produce RB1s

Steven Jackson, Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Michael Bush.
Im in no way comparing huggins to the first three there, but im just giving an example...i mean how bad can tampa actually be that they cant produce a good RB..lol, and from my experience, a starting running back with a 4.28 40 can do alot of damage if they break into the secondary, and im sure this guy can easily get into the secondary.

ok..lets compare him to Warrick Dunn. Sounds about right, yes...Kareem huggins is the new Warrick Dunn..lol

SJax and Sanders are top 5 talent guys that carry offenses on their back. Thurman Thomas played in 4 SuperBowls - not exactly bad teams. And when did Michael Bush become an RB1?

Yea...the only times we see top tier fantasy RBs from bad offenses are when the guy is just so talented that he's able to perform despite everything else. And while a guy like Mike Williams in the passing game helps, he doesn't magically make them a much improved offense. I think they'll be better than last year, but good enough for an unproven rookie RB to be a top 10 guy by the season's end? I think not.

Are all guys off the top of my head who I would rather have rostered rather than Huggins, he's a handcuff to a guy who is, at best, projected to be a boderline top 20 back...

IDK the logic that translates a fringe top 20 back's backup = a 75% chance to become a top 10 back if the guy he's BEHIND on the depth chart get's hurt, if the Huggins was that good, he'd be starting already.

There are proably at least dozen handcuffs I'd rather have than Huggins...

I think he's closer to the top of that handcuff list thanks to his physical tools. I still think you're looking at about a 5% chance that he is a top 10 fantasy RB for weeks 12-16 and about a 1% chance that he's a top 10 RB for the season.

You would rather have Dwyer than Huggins? You've lost all cred. Dwyer might not even make the team and would be no higher than 4th on the depth chart if he does make it.

Last I checked Dwyer had basically locked up a roster spot and was 3rd on depth chart behind Mendy and Moore. I'd rather have Dwyer simply because Moore is best suited to 3rd down role, Dywer, IMO is better suited to be more of a load back should anything happen to Mendy. IMO, Dwyer is in a better situation than Huggins, and therefore has a better chance of producing at a higher clip than the guy in Tampa should they both see the field. This whole conversation is pretty pointless considering that it is all predicated on injuries which are impossible to predict.
