Need help, which RB should I claim of the WW?

Postby karl0528 » Sat Sep 04, 2010 4:42 pm

Typical yahoo league.

My Roster...

Jay Cutler QB
Brandon Marshall WR
Michael Crabtree WR
Eddie Royal WR
Maurice Jones-Drew RB
Stephen Jackson RB
Vernon Davis TE
BENCH
Dexter McCluster RB/WR
Ricky Williams RB
Bernard Barrian RB
Matt Cassel QB
Mike Williams (TB) WR
DEF Dallas
K Nate Kaeding

I had Montaro Hardesty and obviously I need to replace him. I think I have enough good depth at WR but would like a better option at RB. My options include: Michael Bush, Fred Jackson,Laurence Maroney, Cadillac Williams,Donald Brown, Steve Slaton, Chester Taylor, Tim Hightower, Darren MCfadden, Marshawn lynch, leron mcclain, and julius jones. To me I think it's pretty much a crapfest but if you have any ideas your suggestions would be great!

Post a link to your post and I'll leave a reply for you. Thanks in advance!

I'd have to go with Caddy since he is the only supposed absolute single starting RB out of the group.

Help me in return? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=471452

if you are only gonna "test drive" one, go and ride the Caddy.

Michael Bush, he'll be better in the long run. If there are decent QB's on the waiver I'd drop Cassel and grab Caddy too just in case then worry about a qb on Cutler's bye. (Big Ben still out there?)

I actually dropped Big Ben for Cassel because I was worried about Jay. I too am a bears fan and the oline is very suspect. I was unable to make this draft so the computer did the picking according to my rankings. The QB WW is rather slim w/ guys like Henne, Orton, Sanchez, Anderson, and Campbell out there. I think Cassel is going to be a sleeper this yr and have a decent season w/ Charley Weiss calling the plays and TJ and McCluster coming on board.
