I have relatively weak WR/TE's on my team. (We play them together as a flex position) I know I could use an upgrade, but there aren't too many options out there. Here are the best options available as Free Agents:
D.Branch (Housh was just released by SEA)
Deon Butler (ditto)
Crayton (just traded to SD)
A. Gonzalez
M. Thomas (JAX)
K. Walter
O. Daniels
Edelman
that's it...trust me...there's nothing else good out there
Should I drop any of my guys in favor of one of these WR's???? Here is my roster: QB: Romo, Henne RB: Rice, SJax, Moreno, Buckhalter WR/TE (flex): Bowe, Nicks, Celek, Breaston, Burleson, Hester, S.Holmes D: Jets K: Vinatieri
POST A LINK...I'll help in return.

I wouldn't drop any of them for what's on your wire. I think Bowe and Hicks shoulkd be good. They may not be studs, but you have great RBs to overcome that. Then, if Holmes comes back strong, you have another option. But I just don't think any of those are an upgrade.
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green, TE: Hernandez, Cook
Only two guys are drop-able at wide receiver, Holmes and Hester. Hester could have a decent year, but that's what people are saying about every Chicago wide receiver. Holmes will be a wasted bench spot for a quarter of the season. As is, they are probably better than anything you could find on the waiver wire.
However, if you really are looking to try and make your wide receivers better and are willing to make a gamble, then I suggest you look to see if Sammie Stroughter is there. Everybody talks about Mike Williams and how he will be a sleeper this season, but Stroughter has had more time to develop with Freeman and is slated to be the starter week 1. If you want to take a gamble, I suggest dropping Holmes for Stroughter.
