need to pick up a WR WHIR

Postby Cubsfan2803 » Sun Sep 05, 2010 9:04 pm

TJ was just dropped so I need a replacement WR for a while. Do I start Eddie Royal or Julian Edelman? Or should I pick up someone like Dexter McCluster, Joshua Cribbs, Demaryius Thomas, Golden Tate, Devery Henderson, Mike Williams, or Patrick Crayton?

Then who do I drop... Royal, edelman, john carlson, or clinton portis?

This is a ppr league

Williams would be my choice over Royal and Edelman. What's your lineup like? It seems like you are really reaching for a starter this early in the season.

help?

Thanks for the help. My draft did not go so good. It was a live draft and I made a mistake by taking someone way to early under time pressure and it threw me off for the rest of the draft. I think I am going to try and offer Edelmen to the owner with Welker, so I guess I will drop royal for williams?

I am also looking to trade for a better WR but I don't have much to offer yet. I was thinking of offering Fitz for two middle ground WRs, or something like Harrison and Carlson for a WR. Any ideas? I hope that one of my bench players pops a nice game so I can sell them high.

Here is my roster...
Aaron Rodgers
Larry Fitzgerald
Anquan Boldin
Eddie Royal
Pierre Thomas
Ahmad Bradshaw
Jermichael Finley
T.J. Houshmandzadeh
Brandon Jacobs
Jerome Harrison
Julian Edelman
John Carlson
Clinton Portis
Rob Bironas
Miami - soon to be dropped for The eagles D, I have the second Wavier priority and some one was dumb and dropped them. Is this worth the number two WW priority?

just because tj housh got cut doesnt mean he wont play this year or the 1st week. He could even improve his stock even more depending upon what team he ends up on and who is qb is. Other than that, im not a big fan of eddie royal this year and see jabar gaffney having a better season than him in den. edelman should be a ok pick but welker is healthy and will be all season, but id hold on to him just incase. other than that your team is very solid. if you wanted you could package together a 2 for 1 deal with jacobs and someone else for a rb or wr depending upon who you want to start in ur flex or 3rd wr spot. jacobs and bradshaw will split the carries and bradshaw i see as a better fit for the giants..

Please help me with mine

Oh, the Williams I am talking about is Seattle's Williams, not Tampa's. Does this make a difference?
