LT as FLEX in PPR? WHIR

Postby Jear3 » Sun Sep 05, 2010 10:40 pm

I did a 12 team PPR draft today in which receptions are 1.0. It seems like alot, I know; it was just changed this year from 0.5.

Anyway, I drafted 12th and people went pretty heavy on the running backs. After taking 3 WR's and an RB with my first four picks, I wanted to go RB/RB in round 5/6. Well, sadly most higher upside guys like C.J. Spiller were gone, so I grabbed Ahmad Bradshaw and LT (it was pretty much him or Barber at that point).

How horrible of a pick was it?
QB: Cutler, Freeman
RB: Blount
RB: Bradshaw
WR: A. Johnson (Gaffney)
WR: Wayne
RB/WR/TE: Nicks (Boss)
RB/WR/TE: Tomlinson (Greene, Jennings, Davis)
K: Brown
DST: Giants

Hard to say without seeing your roster. Best thing to do is, put it in your sig so you don't have to put it every post.
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,
TE: Hernandez, Cook

Updated.

Yes, my RB depth is horrid, and I only took one QB; but my WR are depth is insane.

Do you play 2Rbs, 3WRs and a flex? Or 2 WRs and a flex? I think you are fine for now. Just look at toerh rosters for people whose WRs are light and target them.

we go:

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
RB/WR/TE
RB/WR/TE
K
DST

So really I could easily plug Nicks in for LT is he stinks the joint up.

i love LT this year, i think hes been showing that he has alot left in the tank. Hes playing for the best run line in the league, and will not only get a solid 10 touches a game he is the only legit receiving option in the backfield. i see him as a player with about 40-60yds rushing and 5 receptions 50yds and a td every game. if LT doesnt work out then go with one of your other players that you can plug in.

LT will never get you tons of points but he will be pretty consistent. Don't count on him to be the main RB but he will do good as a flex
