Over Drafted on WR, Who do I trade away? WHIR

Postby kswiss » Mon Sep 06, 2010 1:09 am

I'm in a 12 team H2H league with 1/2 pt per reception. I didn't like most of the options available at most of my draft points. I noticed a few teams really weak at WR, so I just kept picking WRs to trade later. I'd like to pick up a better RB or QB. Does anyone have insight as to a good way to trade my receivers and get back some good talent? Should I be trying to trade Moss and Foster for a top RB and good/ok receiver? Should I be trying to do a 2 for 1 with Crabtree and Cadillac?

My Team:
QB: Carson Palmer
WR: Randy Moss, Greg Jennings, Michael Crabtree
RB: Ryan Grant, Arian Foster
TE: Owen Daniels
Flex: Wes Welker
K: Robbie Gould
Def: Dallas
Bench: Cadillac Williams, Leon Washington, Mike Wallace, Mike Williams (TB), Jabar Gaffney, David Garrard

honestly i really like your ream. I wouldnt trade away any of your top wrs. If you wanted you could deal cadillac and crabtree for another wr/rb go for it and put welker as one of your starting wrs. I dont think you need another rb, i see foster as a potential monster, and ryan grant although only catches around 30 balls a year is still a top 15rb. you have alot of depth at wr, and not so much at rb. yes you dont have an allstar at qb but palmer i see having a very solid year.. he has alot of weapons to throw to and will post top 10qb stats

Trade crabtree and cadillac(inj prone) for a solid rb who catches the ball as well like a mccoy, ryan mathews, benson, p thomas

please help with mine

I think you could wait til after week 1 and if you get a couple good games out of your low end WR's, you could go after someone like Hightower, LT or Forte to bolster your RB's.
I'm sorta new here...

Thanx for the help with mine.

I think your Rbs are fine for a 12 teamer....but I would try to upgrade your QB. Maybe go after the Big Ben owner and see if he has a weakness at WR and make him an offer.
