I'm assuming you were 1st overall. I am not a fan of drafting from this spot this year because there is so much talent in the top 16 players this year. I am not sold on Larry Fitzgerald, sure he has skills but Arizona is very weak behind center. I am also running the Flacco/Young QB combo, I think Young is going to have a breakout year this year. He's looked very solid this preseason and I see him finishing in the top 10 fantasy QBs this year with better awareness and patience.

Overall I'd give you a 6.8/10. 1st overall is always a tough position to be in, I have seen very few great 1st pick teams. There is such a big gap between the elite and just plain great players that if CJ doesn't perform this year, you don't make the playoffs unfortunately. If Wes Welker can't get back on track you're in serious trouble at wideout. I would bench Jamaal Charles the first week until you know what the Chiefs are planning on doing with him. I think Charles is going to get fewer carries than Thomas Jones this year. Jones is there to wear down the defense and Charles to do what he does best and make breakout runs for 30+ yards, that's just hard to rely on every week. I would shop around Larry Fitzgerald and Jamaal Charles while you can if I were you.

Every player has if's like that as well though. So far Welker looked amazing in preseason. And since this is a PPR league he should do very well for me (hopefully)

I like my QB combo I am just torn this weekend on who is starting for me.

I caught Fitz on a steal (40th+ pick) so it was well worth the gamble, I think Fitz makes Anderson much better, he has a good arm just not very accurate but Fitz can help correct that (see how moss made culpepper look like an amazing qb? lol)

I got TO extremely late also, I am dying to start him this week vs very young DB's over in NE but I am worried Floyd/Bowe are going to have big games on my bench.

I am in the same boat, I wanted 4-5th pick not 1st, but with 1 I had to go CJ (Rogers was an option but at 4pt td's for QB I went RB)

I agree with the analysis on Fitzgerald but I don't think you can pass him up at the end of the 4th round. Since you went 3 RBs in the first 3 rounds Fitz is probably not a bad first receiver to pick, but I guess that depends on who else was on the board.
